Privacy policy

What we collect

When you place an order as a guest, StoreCay collects the information needed to fulfill it: email address, shipping and billing address, phone number (if provided), and order contents. We also store a guest access token so you can look up your order without creating an account.

Payment card details are processed by Stripe and are not stored on StoreCay servers. We may retain a Stripe PaymentIntent identifier and payment status for your order record.

How we use information

• Process, fulfill, and support your orders
• Send transactional emails (order confirmation, shipping updates)
• Prevent fraud and keep the store secure
• Improve storefront performance and reliability

We do not sell your personal information.

Cookies and local storage

The cart and recent guest order history may be saved in your browser (localStorage / sessionStorage) so you can continue shopping or reopen an order link on the same device. Clearing site data removes that history; you can still use the order link from your confirmation email while the guest token is valid.

Service providers

We use infrastructure and payment providers such as Cloudflare (hosting and storage) and Stripe (payments). Those providers process data only as needed to provide their services under their own policies.

Retention

Order records are kept for as long as needed for fulfillment, legal, accounting, and customer support. Guest tracking links expire after a limited period for security.
